Our Core Values

1. We believe that we have been shown grace through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, and that our salvation is entirely the work of God. We are called to share this good news.

2. We believe that the following concepts are central to our faith:

 Christ Alone —  God’s nature is most fully revealed in God’ self  through  the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ

 Word Alone —  Jesus Christ was fully human and fully God.  We experience Christ through the Scriptures, the living Word.

 Grace Alone —  Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we are saved entirely by God’s grace.

 Faith Alone  —  Through hearing stories and promises of faith we encounter Jesus. Through this encounter God creates faith in the hearer.

3. We firmly believe that that our youth will determine the culture, life, and world-view of tomorrow. We believe that we are compelled to encourage their spiritual formation through Christ and that by doing so, we will encourage them to be faithful, empathetic, and educated individuals.

4. We believe that we are stewards of God’s Creation and must protect it from exploitation and encourage an appreciation of wild places.
